Firmware Files Family J
Select the Family of your LCM:
The LCM Family is shown in the part number. For example, this is the part number of a Family J display: P32240J28C_T01.
How to update a Family J LCM
To update the firmware on family J LCMs (displays), follow these instructions:
WARNING: Never remove the SD Card or power-down the LCM during this procedure. This may permanently damage the LCM.
- Delete all content from the SD Card.
- Copy the firmware file into a folder on the SD Card named "PROCULUS". Example: "D:/PROCULUS/AD_J1_0500_SP.rom"
- Power-off the LCM.
- Connect the SD Card into the LCM.
- Power-on the LCM.
- The screen will be black for a moment, then will update.
- After the LCM resets itself, the update procedure is complete.
- Disconnect the SD Card.
- DELETE the firmware file from the SD Card for safety.

- Fixes the compatibility issues on 2.8" J LCMs from batches *191122* and on. Older 2.8" J LCMs only work with firmware 5.0.
